Word comes to us from cities in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and New York that, upon the strength of plausible stories, a woman claming to be a student of Christian Science is finding lodging in the homes of Christian Scientists, obtaining the services of practitioners and nurses, and after a week or two disappearing without compensating those concerned for their services, but using their names as references in other cities and sometimes inducing people to cash checks.
To insure that complete lecture notices be printed in the Sentinel, detailed information should reach the Editorial Department regarding lectures in the United States and Canada, at least four weeks before the date of the lecture; in Great Britain and Ireland, at least five weeks before; in other European countries, at least eight weeks before.
