A fearful thought came: “You are out of time; the tornado is almost here!” But a soft presence embraced my heart with a conviction that time and space are nothing in the universe of Spirit, God.
In the chaos of a dark, frightening night, I needed to take to heart what the Apostle Paul understood—that “we live, and move, and have our being” in God (Acts 17:28).
Previously, I was always complaining about my luck and blaming God for all the negative things in my life. Nowadays, I am certain that I am a beloved son of God, without limitations. I feel completely free and satisfied.
When we also come to understand God as Spirit, and His creation as purely spiritual rather than tribal or political, it becomes much easier to not only love God supremely but to love all of our neighbors as ourselves.
If we have had an accident that resulted from our own mistake or bad judgment, that’s no reason to believe that we can’t find healing through Christian Science.
