Truth is always the solution
Early one morning, my husband and I were devastated to learn that all our cows—there were 12 of them—had been stolen. The police said cattle thieves were active in our area. They doubted we would get the cows back, as they expected them to be slaughtered and the meat sold to the people in the local township.
The police had already been to the pen where our cows were kept and had followed their hoof tracks until the dirt road ended. It was evident that the cows had been loaded onto a truck and transported away on a paved road. The verdict was that nothing more could be done.
I had come to learn through the study of the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, that there is always a solution to every problem. To find the solution, we need to know the truth Jesus was referring to when he said, “Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32).
