Child healed of rash
When one of my daughters was in second grade, an itchy rash developed on her face near her mouth. During this time, I was working as a substitute teacher, and I was asked to substitute teach at my daughter’s school.
On my way to the classroom, my daughter’s teacher stopped me in the hall and asked if I knew what the rash was. She went on to name it “impetigo” and told me with concern that it was very contagious. She predicted it would spread on my daughter and that it could easily pass to her siblings and classmates. The teacher said that as long as we covered the rash with bandages, she could come to school, and we complied.
As soon as I got home that day at lunchtime, I called a Christian Science practitioner and told her about the situation. Her reply was immediate and vehement: “Thus far and no farther.”
