Seeing it all more clearly
After taking Primary class instruction, I’ve realized that the world I see now has so much more “color,” or spiritual vibrancy. And though there were some challenges to overcome for me to be able to attend class, doing so was worthwhile.
“If I give you two weeks off, you need to take them unpaid,” answered my boss when I requested the necessary leave. Though my financial commitments would make this loss of salary tough, I knew that the hunger to clarify my understanding of Christian Science and thereby improve my ability to heal was nonnegotiable.
I decided at the last minute to attend a particular class, having found my teacher rather close to the enrollment deadline. Less than two weeks before the start, a series of events began unfolding that met my financial needs. I discovered I could pay for my airfare using frequent flyer miles. A friend’s gift in support of my attending class happened to exactly equal what I spent on groceries during those two weeks. A wonderful option for lodging during class became available.
