Cavities healed through prayer
GROWING up, I'd always had a lot of cavities. Usually, I'd just get them filled by the dentist. Sometimes I'd pray about them. My teeth would always get worse, though, and I'd have to go back to the dentist.
In October 2001, the dentist I visited took complete X-rays that revealed decay developing around a few fillings, as well as in half a dozen other teeth. The dentist was very concerned about the condition of my teeth and strongly urged me to get crowns on three of them as soon as possible, have one pulled, and get fillings in the others.
I went home in tears, frightened by his diagnosis. I prayed to God with my whole heart, asking for guidance. Soon I got a strong sense that I could trust Him completely to heal the entire situation through prayer alone. I felt that He had given this assurance to me, and I felt sure He would not impel me to trust Him and then leave me hanging, so I decided to rely wholly on prayer this time.
