I would like to add my gratitude and thanks to the pages of this periodical. I, like many others who have written their testimonies for print, have been healed of many physical diseases through the study and practice of Christian Science. One particular healing, that made an impact on my life because of the naturalness of its outcome, gives me great joy to share.

I was praying with a teacher of Christian Science to get a clearer concept of my spiritual birthright, never separate from God. Because of the prayer going on, I felt enveloped by love. I was planning to fly to attend the Annual Meeting of The Mother Church and had been invited to meet with this person at his home.

Several days before my flight, I had the opportunity to shoot some basketball on a private court by myself. I was trying to retrieve one of the shots I had made when the ball came down with great force on my index finger. Although I did not have my finger X-rayed, the finger was severely injured. The pain and discoloration needed prompt attention.
