Celebration
Mightier is God than the cosmic swirl
Of galaxies in motion;
Mightier than the swift decay
Of atoms in explosion:
Mind guides the heavens' boundless whirl—
The massive mobile of His skill—
Wields Spirit's energies that play
In radiant patterns of His will.
Celebrate God in ecstatic song:
Harmonious devotion;
Celebrate God in epic dance
Of counterpointed motion.
Love hurls on wing our soaring throng
That lilts His Word in timeless act;
Life surges where joy's floods advance
To spume in rainbowed cataract.
