Gratitude to whom and why?

A grateful attitude always brings a joyous sense of well-being, but knowing to whom we are grateful and why can make quite a difference.

Keep your thinking above the clouds

You have probably had the experience of boarding an airplane on a murky day.

"A light unto my path"

A curly-haired five-year-old tugs at her mother's hand and says, "Mommy, do we have to leave?
Christ Jesus' parable of the prodigal son may be the best known of all parables.

Take refuge behind the wall

Nehemiah made just such a move.

Thank you, Father

Father-Mother, thank youfor myriad, so-called miracles:for impossibilities reversedor simply dissolved—thus never occurring—when we see Your good solutions,wondrous answers,divinely natural,far greater than any fromhuman planning,then we know that we candemonstrate what we are learning,prove what we are winning!

A celebration that heals

Generally we celebrate to mark something exceptionally good that has occurred.

Religion that isn't selfish

Those who know the pure Christianity that Christ Jesus brought to the world know it as religion that gives of its good.
A few years ago I was held hostage by a gunman and raped.
It is with gratitude to God that I write this testimony.
