[Ability to demonstrate Christian Science comes with study and practice of the truth taught by Christ Jesus and revealed in Science and Health. This series touches upon some ways in which this truth can be applied.]
Healing by recognizing the supremacy of divine law
Deific law allows for no exceptions. It is the immutable will of God, which holds the entire spiritual universe in perpetual life and health. It is supreme. From the galaxies of infinite Mind's creation to the miniscule atoms of divine goodness in individual, spiritual man, everything God made is maintained in perfect harmony under the immutable jurisdiction of the one eternal Principle, Love.
If we find ourselves in trouble, we can recognize that divine law is supreme, and a way out of the trouble will appear. If we are suffering from lack, we can realize that divine law includes all good, and if we make our claim to the good God gives, His law will supply it. If we are sick, we can realize that divine law governs all, including our own well-being, and the sickness will disappear.
If suffering from an ailment that claims to be supported by a medical health law, by a law of physics, or by a theory of psychosomatic causation, we can be healed by rejecting the belief in a law other than God's law of good. This divine law is, in fact, the only law governing our substance and experience. If we do this and hold to it mentally, God's law itself will destroy the evidence of discord.
