I have had the desire for a long time to express in a testimony my gratitude for Christian Science.

More than twenty years ago, I was led to seek aid of a friend of my husband's family. She gave me the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and told me to read it. I did so, and was healed of a goiter which had grown quite noticeable. As I studied our textbook and sincerely tried to apply in my daily life the truths I learned, the physical manifestation disappeared and has never returned.

Since that time our family have had many proofs of God's loving care. We have seen healings of unlovely traits of character, a crossed eye, blood poisoning, croup, a bad breaking out on hands and arms, influenza, and many other errors. More recently, my husband has been healed of a chronic cough which had persisted since childhood. During the healing, the cigarette habit of long standing left him.
