The importance of joy

I have been a Christian Scientist for over a century. Recently, I was dealing with some stubborn tooth pain. But in my prayers I knew that there is only one Mind, God, and that Mind knows no pain. 

I hung in there until I was conscious of Truth, God. And I was happy to call the Christian Science practitioner who was praying for me to tell her I had a complete healing of the pain after two days. Thank you, God! And thank you to the Christian Science nursing facility that’s been my temporary home. Everyone here works hard to express God. 

When something tries to bother me, I regularly correct my thoughts with Christianly scientific truths. I also thank God for my joy, because joy replaces pain through divine Love. I love to express joy any time I have an opportunity to, because it’s brought healing through many Soul-filled years.
