Betterment comes less from noting human imperfections and striving to change them than from discerning a deeper perfection that actually defines us.
If we are conscious of God’s loving hand gently prompting us, then we will be always ready to serve God and His offspring with humble prayer.
As we gather in a church service to pray together as members of the congregation, we feel each element of the service bringing hope, faith, and love to humanity.
I was trusting God with my desire for my family’s welfare. I knew He would not leave us stranded.
My boyfriend’s mother had Mary Baker Eddy’s book Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, and whenever I was in her house, I would read this book.
I knew this healing would help me in other experiences whenever I needed to feel more confident about my prayers.
God was my only hope of breaking out of what seemed a hopeless situation.
As I more consistently saw only what God sees and knew only what God knows, I was better able to realize both my own perfection as God’s creation and the perfection of all with whom I came in contact.
I felt a big weight lift from me as I saw that I could leave all my concerns with God.
