Reaction to poison ivy healed
There are no words to express my deep gratitude for a lifetime of healings, blessings, and spiritual growth through the study and application of Christian Science. I am also grateful that our children had the opportunity to attend the Christian Science Sunday School and to experience the power of prayer in many areas of their lives.
One healing that has always stood out to me involved our daughter, who was in high school at the time. After a weekend camping trip with her biology class, she returned home with a poison ivy rash on one arm.
Another family member offered some ointment that claimed it could clear up such rashes. Thinking this would be a simple and effective treatment, our daughter applied the cream for a couple of days. But the rash continued to spread, until on the third morning she awoke covered with the rash, to the extent that her eyes were nearly swollen shut.
