The unfolding comfort, care, and direction of Love
“Lo, I am with you alway” (Matthew 28:20). “I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me” (John 5:30). “Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord” (Isaiah 43:10).
These verses became sacred to me after my husband of many years passed away. As a student of Christian Science, I knew God was the source of my comfort, stability, and peace. I was also faced with the end of a major job contract, major debts, and a sizable home needing
attention.
My prayers sometimes took a while, as I was seeing new facets of God and man that I had not seen before.
