Ending violence against women
[“To end violence against women,” March 12 audio chat with Elise Moore]
Wow—this really handles all violence—so helpful. “Jesus beheld in Science the perfect man ...” as Mary Baker Eddy tells us (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, pp. 476–477). Our job is to keep that vision infinite for ourselves and others. Thank you, Elise!

Thanking God
I’m not exactly sure if I should be thanking God or the Sentinel. Probably both .… It seems that each copy of your magazine I pick up is touching on an emotion I’m struggling with or a situation in my life. I guess I’ll just say “Keep ’em comin’,” and I’ll thank God for the Sentinel.

Prayer for animals
I was so happy to see Leslie Dill Gondolf’s article “Prayerfully confronting animal abuse” in the March 4 Sentinel. I pray each day for the world’s animals, knowing that divine Love supplies their every need, especially the need for freedom from any form of abuse.
Gondolf writes, “God preserves and defends the identity of each creature, and our compassionate actions can reflect this.” What a wonderful way to view God’s expressions and to know that everyone, including animals, are absolutely blessed by divine Science.

Kudos!
When my first January 2013 issues of the Sentinel arrived in December, I scanned through them and thought, “Why on earth did they go backward in design? They feel like an enlarged size of those little ones from the ’70s, only on nicer paper.” Lack of color and the shorter length seemed to be a turnoff.
But I turned my thought to God and said, “OK, I’ll give this time and see if I can’t see what You want me to see.”
It’s now been over two months, and I love the smaller (in length and size) magazine. It is still big in deeply spiritual content, and that is what I’ve always enjoyed. And actually, as I try to finish reading some older copies I didn’t get to in 2012, I find myself enjoying the newer versions so much more. There is less to distract thought from what is most important—the ideas. And I feel I can share these more easily because there are just ideas. I also have been enjoying the “On the Web” articles.
So, thank you for your dedication to making the ideas stand out so much more. Kudos!
