Emergency call
My son Daniel, who is four years old, was playing firefighter in the living room when he asked his dad: “How can I make an emergency call?”
“What do you need to call 911 for?” his dad asked. “To call the fire station,” Daniel replied.
Dad noticed that Daniel had a small pocket Bible in his hands and thought this would be a nice opportunity to explain how God always answers our prayers, no matter what the situation is. So he answered, “The Bible is a good choice for an emergency call.”
Before he could explain further, Daniel put the Bible up to his ear like a phone and said: “Hello, is this the fire department?”
