A healing that took several months has been most valuable to me because of the lessons learned.
About a year and a half ago I found that doing ordinary home making activities was becoming increasingly difficult. At first I didn't pay much attention to this and assumed that it would pass. (Ignoring difficulties is not what I've learned through my study of Christian Science!) It didn't pass. Soon I needed my husband's help to open jar lids and pick up clothes baskets—a lesson itself in humility! A false sense of pride had to be overcome.
Finally I realized that specific prayer about this situation was a must here and now. I began by strengthening my view of man as a spiritual identity, not a combination of material elements.
