Letters

I love everything about Melanie Ball’s article, “Of ‘joints and marrow,’ ” in the September 3 Sentinel [“Worthy, needed, loved”].

I found most helpful the section where Ms. Ball talks about addressing her complaining body as if it were throwing a tantrum. I found this to be an interesting “take” on addressing bodily complaints, and I’m finding it to be very effective.

Before trying this, I used a thesaurus to reverse some of the synonyms that I found for the word tantrum. Very interesting!
