In Miscellaneous Writings 1883–1896, Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, says that Christian Science teachers “shall enjoin upon [their students] habitually to study His revealed Word, the Scriptures, and ‘Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures’ ” ( p. 315 ).
