It was noticeable to everyone that day how quiet the class seemed. One student was absent—David. "It's hard to listen when David comes," remarked one of the students. Others in the Sunday School class joined in, sharing their opinions. Danny found it especially hard to get along with David. Sometimes there was punching and shoving between them even when the boys sat on opposite sides of the table.

"This is David's class, too," the teacher reminded them. "We need to see that harmony belongs to all of us, as God's children—it's not dependent on someone else."
