A life of love and healing

Loving God and His law is fulfilled by loving our fellowman.

I saw around me a world in need of healing, and I wanted to be a part of the solution. As I sought the answer, I learned from the Bible about the divine law "God is love" (I John 4:16). Although I accepted this law as true, the challenge remained to prove its practicality in an often troubling world. This, I realized, can only be done through the Christianization of daily life. And this means learning to love as Christ Jesus did.

Jesus set the high standard for living, with the spiritual law "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind," followed by the moral law "Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself" (Matt. 22:37, 39). Loving God and His law is fulfilled by loving our fellowman.
