The true view of man elucidated in Christian Science reveals that he is God's perfect, spiritual expression. The real man is created not to get or to take in but to impart. This is the man of whom Christ Jesus spoke when he said, "The kingdom of God is within you." Luke 17:21;

A mortal is the exact opposite of the real man. Mortal man has nothing within himself. From the standpoint of a finite mind he surveys an exterior universe and sets out to acquire from it as much good as he can.
