Injuries caused by fall respond quickly to practitioner's help

Christian Science was first brought to my attention many years ago when I was young enough to be a pupil in the Sunday School; and although my parents were not interested in this Science, they nevertheless permitted me to attend the Sunday School, for which I am very grateful.

The blessings which Science has brought into my experience are too numerous to be fully recounted here. Among the healings and protection which I have had is an experience I had recently, for which I am especially grateful.

Early one afternoon while standing on a chest in my apartment, I fell to the floor, striking my head against a sharp edge of a radiator. My head was cut, and my left hip, the entire left arm, especially the elbow and wrist, and the thumb and one finger of the left hand were injured. I do not know what a physician would have said about the injuries, as none was consulted. I was dazed and slightly nauseated, but not unconscious, and I was able immediately to declare that "all is infinite Mind and its infinite manifestation, for God is All-in-all," as stated by our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, in "the scientific statement of being" given on page 468 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." The arm was limp and slightly numb, but I was able to rise from the floor, walk to the bathroom, and bathe the cut on my head and place a pad on it. I continued to work metaphysically, and when I retired that evening at my usual hour, I was able to use the injured arm and hand in a restricted manner, but the pressure on the injured parts of my body while I was lying in bed made the pain seem almost unbearable.
