Orangeville Banner

According to a report in the Orangeville Banner, a local minister recently preached a sermon in which he claims that the teachings of Christian Science are not in accord with the Bible.

The reverend gentleman's statement would have been more correct if he had said that the interpretation of the Bible by Christian Science differs in a degree from that placed upon the Scriptures by the denomination with which he is associated. Which interpretation more nearly approximates the true import of the Word is answered by demonstration, even as Christ Jesus said, "he that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also."

Testimonies of Christian Science healing appear in The Christian Science Journal, a monthly periodical, and in the Christian Science Sentinel, a weekly publication, also in all the editions of The Herald of Christian Science.
