I saw that the discomfort I was feeling wasn’t truly a fact about me.
We can be confident that God’s plan surely includes a tangible manifestation of love in our experience.
Because God is all-good, omnipresent, all-powerful, all-intelligent, there is no possibility that something could interrupt or derail God’s ongoing governance.
The only important decision I needed to make in every situation was the decision to turn to God for an answer.
When our now-adult sons were in grade school, a fellow mom invited me to a Christian Science lecture.
Earlier this year I was experiencing a very painful condition with my mouth and lips.
We all want to get along with family members and friends.
I once thought I could not hear God’s voicenear enoughto win my heart.
Earlier this year, in a rare public appearance outside of the White House, first lady Melania Trump presented 13 women from around the world with the International Women of Courage Award, honoring their demonstrated courage and leadership in the face of adversity.
To acknowledge today’s heroes, and to do so publicly, is certainly important, both to honor them and also to inspire us to look at our own opportunities to stand strong in difficult trials.
When our hearts are filled with the love of God, it naturally spills over and is attractive.
