In our everyday coming and going, there may be times when we feel we’re unable to fully receive God’s messages of love and direction. We may theoretically understand that God guides and cares for us, but we may nevertheless fear we’re not truly receptive to Him, to His healing power and presence, even if we wholeheartedly wish we were!
Actually, though, receptivity to Truth, God, is inherent in each of us, because our true identity as God’s reflection already expresses the divine understanding. Receptivity is a humble openness to spiritual reality that brings with it spiritual-mindedness and expectation of healing based on an understanding of God’s spiritual creation. It enables us to know all that we need to know, when we need to know it, and to overcome obstruction or disruption or doubt.
