[“The Bible on my desk,” Marilyn Wallace, May 25, 2015, Sentinel]
Christian Science Sentinel—Audio Podcast

What are we watching?

My watching must always be done through eyes of love.
I realized that it was this false view of God as powerless, and somehow separate from me, that had led to my disheartenment.
We are working to wake up to and understand spiritual, harmonious being, just as God created and maintains it.

Christ, whose glory fills the skies

Christ, whose glory fills the skies, Christ, the true, the perfect Light,Sun of righteousness, arise, Triumph o’er the shades of night;Dayspring from on high, be near,Daystar, in my heart appear.

God showed me what was true

While I was getting my doctorate in religious education at New York University, I spent quite a bit of time reading the Bible.

The Christ in my life

I deeply felt the healing influence of the Christ in my life.

Husband and wife healed

One evening a few years ago when my husband, Jonathan, and I had just returned from dinner at a restaurant, he began coughing and was unable to stop.

A burden lightened

A number of years ago when I was unemployed, a friend recommended that I apply for a job where she worked, which was in the office of a private school.

Allergies healed

When I was a teenager, I began suffering from seasonal allergies at the end of each summer.

Why tolerance of religion is not enough

With calm and respectful questions, the nine justices of the US Supreme Court debated yet another case about religious freedom on Wednesday.
“When the heart speaks, however simple the words, its language is always acceptable to those who have hearts,” wrote Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, in Miscellaneous Writings 1883–1896, page <a class="tome-reference" href="https://login.
The Christly demand to be humble reaches deeper into thought and character than we might realize.
