YOUR LETTERS

"When we yearn to help another, divine Love will always show us how, in the simplest way."

From the Editors: Thank you to all who answered a reader's plea about how to help his friend who's parents are getting divorced (See Sentinel "Letters," March 15, 1999). These last letters indicate more readers' love and desire to help.

As a young man, my husband was lying in bed, anticipating surgery the following day if relief and healing did not appear. His boss visited briefly, tossed onto his bed a copy of the Christian Science textbook, and said: "Don't know whether this book would be of any help to you, but it sure helped me. If you read it, be sure to read both the first and last chapters. That's all it took to convince me."

By the time he finished the two chapters, he was healed and went to a movie that night. When we yearn to help another, divine Love will always show us how, in the simplest way.
