"What are Christian Scientists like?"
During dinner with me, a friend asked me how I had found peace in my life. I had to tell her the truth. I had to tell her that I had found it by reading Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy.
I explained how much turmoil had been going on in my life at the time I first read this book. I had changed jobs and had moved to a new apartment. Each night my mind would race, and I would have difficulty sleeping. I would reach for the book and read at random until my thought calmed and the tension drained.
My reading of this book was to do more than help me sleep, though; it would lead to healing. The more I read the book, the more the spiritual Truth stated in it transformed my thought and healed my life physically, emotionally, and morally.
