Getting back on the right track

Does your life seem to be going nowhere? Or is everything "coming up roses"? In either case, Christ reveals something important about our priorities.

Most of us know the feeling. Life seems off course somehow. Perhaps it's a lack of joy, no real peace of mind. Or it may be the conviction we're not living up to our highest potential. Whatever the situation, we sense we're not on the right track. ...

We can get back on it. This "right track" is already mapped out for us. It is as clearly marked as a single set of footprints leading up a snow-covered hill. Though perhaps steep at times, it's a path that is always accessible to us. And where our spiritual, mental, and physical well-being are concerned, it is the only road you and I can really afford to be on.

Christ Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Regardless of how spiritually sidetracked our life may seem at times, correction comes as we turn wholeheartedly to God and strive to live by what our Master lived and taught. Our peace returns. We regain our sense of direction. We have the feeling of moving in accord with the Father's plan. And this makes all the difference in the day-to-day events of our lives.
