LETTERS

This letter is to thank you for the column "In the Christian Science Bible Lesson" that is published every week in the Sentinel. I would especially like to thank the writers of this column, who share their knowledge and insights of Bible passages.

The column titled "Only blessed, never cursed," by Christa Kreutz in the November 1 issue ["Grief healed"], was extraordinary. I shared it with my husband, who is not a Christian Scientist. Both of us were raised in a religion that promotes the belief of "original sin." My husband was absolutely enthralled with this article. He read it several times, made notes, and asked me numerous questions about the first and second chapters of Genesis. Then he shared ideas from this column with family members and friends via e-mail.

What a wonderful example of the leavening of thought that the Christian Science periodicals are producing. Please keep up the good work.
