SEVERE PAIN REVERSED

I'm so grateful to God for a quick healing I had last year of severe abdominal pain. One Saturday morning, for no apparent reason, I developed discomfort in my side. Although I prayed for myself as I usually do, the pain intensified, so I decided to call a Christian Science practitioner for assistance. He agreed to pray with me, and I sensed his conviction that this situation would be healed.

The practitioner mentioned specific ideas from that week's Christian Science Bible Lesson, which became the basis for my prayer. But though I felt supported by the practitioner's prayers and my own, it had became difficult to move because of the pain.

That night I slept fitfully, but when I was awake, I prayed along the lines that the ever-presence of God, divine Truth, obliterates any claim of illness or pain.
