Church Dedications

Note: Christian Science churches are dedicated only when free from debt.

Bethlehem, Pennsylvania (First Church).

The new edifice of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is to be dedicated Sunday ... at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The church had its beginning in public meetings in private homes of the city. On June 21, 1904, it was recognized as a branch of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts. Soon afterward services were held in old Market Hall, Broad Street.
