FEAR NOT THE WILDERNESS

Fear not a wilderness experience.
If mists of doubt or hidden fear are prone
To leave your thinking comfortless, alone,
Be not afraid. All error is pretense.
For in the presence of a higher sense
Of Love more faith and confidence are known;
And man, God's image, ever has his own
Full measure of content and peace. Hence,
Untouched by disappearing falsities,
We watch with joy eternal truths repeal
Ungodlike thoughts and lift mankind above
Material sense to Spirit's legacies.
Bewilderment is gone when trials reveal
Our only need: learning how to love.
