CUMULATIVE GROWTH

What one approaching God in prayer
Has failed to find a measure of release
From ills and troubled moments there—
A glimpse of serenity of peace?

These experiences attest
The healing power of some vital thought
That strikes accord with sincere quest
For man's true state of being, as God wrought.

And when we pray, as best we know,
Each truthful thought, retained and lived, will be
An added means through which to grow
Toward the promise of eternity.
