Because of my deep gratitude for...

Because of my deep gratitude for what Christian Science is doing for the whole world, I should like to testify to a recent healing I experienced. One morning I suddenly became practically blind. When I tried to go to the telephone and call a practitioner my movements did not seem to co-ordinate, and I was panic-stricken for a moment. However, I persisted in knowing that God fills all space and that because He was with me, in reality there was nothing to change or heal. This calmed my fear to a large extent, and I was able to telephone the practitioner.

She spoke with such assurance of man's perfection as the image and likeness of his Father-Mother God that all sense of panic left me, and I walked the floor, singing the hymns in the Christian Science Hymnal which were familiar to me. In a matter of minutes my sight was restored, and the other symptoms faded away. I am most grateful for this proof that there is no power apart from God, and I am humbly grateful for Mrs. Eddy's unselfish love and devotion in establishing Christian Science with all of its activities.

I have experienced many other healings through Christian Science, and growth and unfoldment have come through my having been an associate at the Sanatorium of the Christian Science Benevolent Association at Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. The love and friendship that were shown to me there will always be among my fondest memories.
