Reading Room Notes

The Sentinel of May 29, 1943, carried an invitation to members of The Mother Church, and particularly librarians, to contribute, from time to time, helpful, healing experiences in our Reading Rooms. The invitation still stands, and contributions should be sent to the Journal and Sentinel Editorial Department. The following are excerpts from reports received from Reading Room librarians of The Mother Church.

In the Reading Room work, my thought often turns prayerfully to the following citation from "The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany" by our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy (p. 202): "May the benediction of Well done, good and faithful,' rest worthily on the builders of this beautiful temple, and the glory of the resurrection morn burst upon the spiritual sense of this people with renewed vision, infinite meanings, endless hopes, and glad victories in the onward and upward chain of being."

Each day we open this Reading Room with definite expectancy of doing better work, of having higher proofs of healing in confirmation of our Leader's vision in establishing this department of the movement.
