"Rejoice in the Lord, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness." It is with much joy and gratitude to God that I tell of some of the many blessings I have had since I found Christian Science.

Some sixteen years ago, before knowing anything of this wonderful Science, I underwent a serious operation and had many medical laws laid upon me. I was so filled with fear I earnestly prayed for several months that I might find God, desiring to know something of Him before I passed on. After recuperating from this operation, which did not improve my physical condition, I was still searching for understanding. I attended different denominational churches and was led one Sunday to attend a Christian Science church. The first thing I remember hearing read from the desk was, "God is All and He is Mind" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 532). This explanation of God so impressed me that I knew instantly that Christian Science was the answer to my prayers.

My sister had attended church with me, and she also accepted Christian Science. Upon returning home we destroyed the contents of three medicine cabinets, knowing that we would thereafter depend entirely upon Christian Science.
