Fear in its various forms is the great enemy of mankind. Christ [Jesus] came to eliminate fear from the lives of men. By bringing men back to harmony with God, he strove to make men conscious of God in their lives, and where God is, fear is absurd. Consciousness of fellowship with God and fear are incompatible. Where God is, fear is not; where fear is, God is not.

"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee."
