A Christian Science period in the "Columbia West Coast Church of the Air" series was conducted from Station KGVO, Missoula, Montana, on Sunday morning, April 19, 1942, at nine o'clock (Mountain War Time), by Louis Vernon Haegg, a former First Reader of a Christian Science church, with the approval of The Christian Science Board of Directors. Mrs. Margaret Small, soloist, was assisted by Mrs. Mae Heyer at the organ.

The program opened with Hymn No. 181 in the Christian Science Hymnal.

Mr. Haegg then read selections from the Bible as follows: Psalms 103:1, 3; 107:20; Matthew 6:33 (Seek ye); 8:1–3, 5–8, 13–16; 9:2–7, 18–25, 27–30 (to ;), 35; and from the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy: 411:20–26; 410:29–2; 313:23–26; 147:24–29, 32–4; 476:32–4; 473:26–3; 473:5–10.
