It is with sincere gratitude I testify to the healing power of Christian Science. I am so grateful to all who have helped me in times of stress; especially to the dear friend who saw my need, after many weary weeks in a hospital, and through whose clear understanding of the truth I was healed. This healing took place fifteen years ago and has been permanent.

We have had many proofs of God's care in our family of three children. One experience always stands out. Our son, when about five years old, was standing near a trash fire, and his clothing caught fire. One leg was burned from ankle to knee before help could reach him. When I saw what had occurred, I tried to work as we are taught in Christian Science; but as my thought did not seem clear and the material evidence was so appalling, for the boy seemed in agony, I called a Christian Science practitioner by telephone. Absent treatment was readily given. I read aloud from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and soon he was sleeping quietly. I continued reading for about an hour, until I was called from the room. Soon I heard him running towards me, entirely healed of pain. That evening, when I doubted the wisdom of his taking a hot bath, he said, "God healed me, mother, and water can't hurt me." My gratitude was without bounds, and Isaiah's words, "And a little child shall lead them," came to me.

Injuries received when he was struck by an automobile were quickly healed for this boy; and he and others of our family have had healings of fevers, colds, so-called contagious diseases, the effects of vaccination, lack, poor eyesight, and tissue abscesses; also, many wrong thoughts have entirely disappeared.
