Christian Science is based upon and accepts the Bible...

Advance

Christian Science is based upon and accepts the Bible in its entirety, and through the spiritual interpretation of the Scriptures is demonstrating the law of God, as set forth therein, after the manner ordained by Christ Jesus, proving its teachings by the "fruits" of its works. Consequently, Christian Science does not deny the Christ, the resurrection, or any other truth that is taught in the Scriptures. To attempt to correct the many misstatements that were included in the article under consideration, and to explain in detail the true teachings of Christian Science on the subjects mentioned therein, would be impracticable. Briefly, Christian Science does not deny the reality of anything that God created. "All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." That which God created is good and eternal, and is the only reality; for the Scriptures declare, "God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good," and, "Whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it." It is inconceivable that God is the author of evil; therefore all that evil is or can be is a false belief or an erroneous concept of the mortal or carnal mind, that mind which is "enmity against God."
