Gratitude for an instantaneous healing through Christian Science...

Gratitude for an instantaneous healing through Christian Science several years ago prompts me to write this testimony. Returning from a visit one evening I experienced pains in the head so severe that they would have frightened me if I had not known that the law of God is ever operative and available, therefore nothing could separate me from its healing power. The words, "whose measures bind the power of pain," came to me, and I repeated the first stanza of Mrs. Eddy's poem "Christ My Refuge" (Poems, p. 12):—

O'er wariting harpstrings of the mind
There sweeps a strain,
Low, sad, and sweet, whose measures bind
The power of pain.

Immediately perfect harmony was restored. I am thankful to be living in an age when the commands of Christ Jesus are again being obeyed by the faithful followers of Mrs. Eddy in preaching the gospel and healing the sick.
