Like so many others, I had my own opinion of what Christian Science is, but two years ago I learned that all my views about it were wrong, for only that which is good and true is Christian Science. I came to Christian Science for physical healing. I had worn glasses for more than twelve years, and for several years I read very little besides my correspondence. I could do no fine sewing, for I suffered greatly when using my eyes, but after receiving the second treatment in Christian Science I took my glasses off. I have felt no need of them since that time, and I use my eyes with perfect freedom. After this healing I was especially happy, because I could embroider all my Christmas gifts, and each one of these gifts was a testimony of God's healing power.

I am most grateful for this healing of my eyes, though it was only the beginning of many blessings that have been added, one of which is peace of mind. I suffered greatly from nervousness, which made me unjust to those who were dearest to me; but as these errors have passed away, good has taken their place. I now know whence cometh my strength. Christian Science is wonderfully beautiful. Those who are healed by it are not only physically healed but are taught to be better in every way. I know the truest gratitude for these many blessings is to help others gain a knowledge of Christian Science.
