Christian Science was brought into our home a few years ago through a dear friend of my childhood days. Neither I nor my family had ever heard of this teaching before; it therefore made a strange impression upon us, and our attitude at first was not favorable to it. I, however, complied with a request to attend a Wednesday evening meeting, and this service proved a greater inspiration to me than I had ever received before in our own church. I soon attended the meetings regularly, and the Christian Science literature, too, became dear to me. A short time after, my husband also became interested in Mrs. Eddy's wondrous teachings, and today my family is conviced with me that this Science is the truth which makes us free. Innumerable blessings have come to us during the past few years. Our children have been healed within a few days of severe colds accompanied by high fever, and we have been enabled to free other members of the family from troublesome complaints of years' standing. We know now that we need not worry about things material, for God is our infinite source of supply, and He gives us everything we need in His good time.
We are indeed deeply grateful for all the blessings which we have received, and above all for the spiritual enlightenment and harmony which Christian Science has brought us.—E. Richter, Dresden, Germany.
I am so grateful for Christian Science that I cannot express it adequately in a few words. What used to seem a life filled with darkness and disappointment is now all changed, and I begin to see the eternal harmony and the "light of Life."
