The Christian Science practitioner

I made the call late one night
to seek the truth of being.
The voice I heard spoke lovingly
of only what God is seeing.
My fear was allayed, and healing came,
as the truth was revealed and heard,
for man is known as God’s own child
as manifested by His Word.
This selfless love both day and night
is felt by those who call.
Such prayers as these bring infinite light
to me, and mine, and all.
