Walls give us shelter and shade. We lean on them and decorate them. They’re famous, formidable, and sometimes a fortress. But walls can also restrict and isolate. That’s fine for a penitentiary. But when lives are held back by walls of oppression or fear, or a career is boxed-in by walls of self-doubt, it’s time for those walls to come down.
