Seeking our own in another’s good

It is always heartening to hear someone say that they opened this magazine, or one of its sister publications, The Christian Science Journal or The Herald of Christian Science, read an article, and thought, “This is just what I needed!” We have probably experienced this ourselves.

But what if instead we find ourselves flipping through the pages and thinking, “There’s nothing here for me,” or “I need a spiritually deeper article,” or one of the myriad other thoughts through which negativity tries to use us.
