"I shall not die, but live..."

Live audio chat with Phil Davis

In this chat Phil starts out by defining what life is. Life is not just God-given, God is Life itself. And the Life that is God is “eternal, unchanging, full of vigor and renewal, joyous, beautiful, permanent, and undiminishing.” He goes on to say that we need to challenge any thought of life as material, old, sick, broken down, and depressing with the fact that we are spiritual and eternal – made in the image and likeness of God. Therefore, death is an illusion to be seen through, not submitted to.

Phil answers questions such as: How can I overcome the grief I feel from the passing of my loved one? How does understanding that life is eternal and death is not real impact our daily lives? How can Christian Science help someone faced with a terminal disease? How can we effectively pray about the recent beheading of US journalists and other such acts of terrorism? And please explain how we can defend ourselves daily against the belief in death?

Phil answers these questions and more with the assurance that since God is Life and God is all, then Life is all and there is no death. As we stay with this spiritual fact, we will see the joy, purpose, peace, health, and love of God in our daily lives.
